General Terms and Conditions of Service.

This section applies to all services, read below for service-specific T&C's for various services we provide.

• The cost of our service varies depending on the service/s chosen and is payable via monthly Paypal or credit card subscription. Please see this page for our up to date pricing. We accept the following currencies: GBP (British Pounds), USD (US Dollar) and EUR (Euro).

• Upon signup to any service, you will receive a 'Welcome' email and an email containing your login credentials to our control panel to configure your autopo.st services. Accounts are set up immediately following payment. Please note that some services require manual creation/setup. This will be carried out by our team during normal office hours (Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 GMT).

• Our service is provided on a month to month subscription basis. If you wish to cancel at any time, simply cancel your account or subscription via the control panel or contact us via support ticket. Unfortunately no refunds can be given on remainders of months unless due to a failure of our system. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with our service, please let us know so that we can attempt to rectify the situation before you cancel. Refunds are not provided under any circumstances for the following services: Audio Fingerprinting, Mobile Phone Apps, Alexa Radio Skill, Cloud Audio Logging, Alexa Flash Briefing, Alexa TV Skill, Fire TV App, Roku TV App, Samsung TV App, Twitch TV, Mixcloud Live, Apple TV App, Vidaa TV App.

• We provide support by support ticket system. If you need to contact us regarding an issue with our services, please raise a support ticket with us. We will respond within 24 hours, typically within a few hours.

• We use some of the best technology available for our services, with servers located in diverse datacentres, but sometimes issues occur. If we are unable to provide you with a service due to an outage, we will credit you with the period that our service was unavailable for (not exceeding the monthly cost of the service) where our availability falls below 99.5% over a monthly period. In the interest of transparency, we publicly publish our SLA figures here, which is monitored by an external company.

Twitter Auto Post - Terms and Conditions

• You are responsible for abiding by Twitter rules and limitations, specifically content and frequency. Regarding content, our system will automatically post the data is receives from your streaming server and the message you have included. Regarding Twitter posting frequency, please see this Twitter page. We are NOT responsible for misuse of our service which may lead to issues with your Twitter account.

• A Twitter Developer account is required for this service so that you can get a Twitter App. A Twitter App is what allows us to post to your Twitter account on your behalf. Instructions are provided upon signup.

• Our Twitter image matching is provided by a third party. While we expect the vast majority of images to be matched correctly there have been a very small number of incorrectly matched images Where this happens, please let us know so that we can feed this information back to our provider. To keep any matching errors to a minimum, please make sure that your data is accurate by making sure your tracks are labelled correctly and there are no spelling errors in the artist names.

Facebook Radio Player Terms and Conditions

• Please note that your Facebook Page must have over 2,000 fans/followers to be able to use this service. If the page you wish to install the player does not have over 2,000 fans/followers, this service will not work. Your audio stream must be over HTTPS.

TuneIn Auto Post Terms and Conditions

• Your TuneIn Station ID, Partner ID and Partner Key are required for this service, you may get these from TuneIn directly. Your station must already be listed on TuneIn to use this service.

Silence Detector, Server Down, Website Down Terms and Conditions

• autopo.st will provide up to 100 SMS/voice calls per month. Additional SMS credits may be purchased by contacting us.

Secure Streams & Port 443 Streaming

• Each Secure Stream/Port 443 Streaming account is limited to 250 concurrent connections (audio at 128kbps or web requests), while this is not a hard limit (you will not be disconnected) we may contact you about usage and recommend moving to a different plan.

  If you cancel the service, your Secure Stream URL may be put back into a pool of usable URL's and re-allocated to a new customer.

Mixcloud Live

Stream Failover

• autopo.st will provide up to 100 SMS/voice calls per month. Additional SMS credits may be purchased by contacting us.

  Messageboard

  • We currently support local SMS numbers for the following countries: United States, United Kingdom and Canada. We may add other local numbers in the future, please let us know if your country is not supported and we will try and supply a local SMS number.

    It is not possible to reply to incoming SMS messages and senders ID is hidden. This is a one-way (incoming) service only.

    You should advise users that they will be charged for sending the texts to our numbers and they should ask for the bill-payers permission.

    We use shared SMS numbers, so you must create a keyword (via our control panel) that users will need to start their text messages with.

  OBS Cloud Server

  The server specifications are as follows:

  • Windows 10 Pro Virtual Server
  • OBS (version 28.0.0 64 bit) preinstalled
  • VPS Spec : 2vCPU, 4GB RAM, 50GB Hard Drive
  • VPS access via RDP (Remote Desktop)

  This VPS is to be used for running OBS broadcasting towards a single RTMP endpoint.

  Please note that this service is provisioned manually. Following the signup process we will provision your VPS and send you your server login details, this will be performed on the same day of ordering your service, during business hours (or next working day if ordered outside of our business hours of 09:00 - 17:00 (BST/GMT), Monday - Friday.
  This is an unmanaged service, configuring OBS is your responsibility. We recommend that you familiarise yourself with OBS software before signing up. You can visit the OBS software page here. OBS help and support is available from here.
