Hello! Good news! It is now possible to select the day of week you’d like our Twitter Static Posting to post to your account. Up to now, you could create up to 10 different messages to post with image to Twitter at either regular intervals, or timed posts, but these would be every day of the week. Now, you can choose which day (or days) of the week you’d like each post to be made. By default, unless you log in and make any changes, all posts will have defaulted to ‘every day’, you can now select which days each posts should be made. We’llRead More →

As part of our continuous improvement plan, we have recently added a new cover art image provider to our existing three providers, now totalling four image providers. This means that if you have chosen to display cover art with your Twitter and Facebook posts, we now search through four different global image databases to perform a match for the artist (or band or group) that is paying on your Radio station. We hope this latest addition will ensure that we are now able to provide an even better level of redundancy  (should one providers service go down) and also be able to match images forRead More →

We have recently made a small change to our Twitter Auto Post service whereby you are now able to select a level of accuracy for the Twitter matching service. Until now, our system has used a fixed algorithm to determine a successful match for an artist (or groups) Twitter account, an algorithm that has sometimes been slightly aggressive in nature (in an aim to not make an inaccurate match. Now you can select from the Twitter Auto Post control panel a level of accuracy (High and Medium) which you can choose from. To give you an understanding of what happens here, the ‘High’ level meansRead More →

In line with our recent communication about increasing the number of scheduled/timed Twitter posts available from 5 to 10, we are please to announce that made the same increase available for Facebook accounts. ‘Static’ posts allow you to schedule messages to be posted to your Facebook page at scheduled times of the day (or regular intervals). You can include any type of message and text and also include an image of your choice to display with each post to be sent to your Facebook page. This can be useful to display times posts with presenters or shows starting at a particualr time, or just to post messagesRead More →

As part of our changes to the scheduling system to make all posting frequency changes real time, we have been making significant changes to the way the scheduling system works. During these changes, we have copied over all existing settings to the new system. Specifically for Twitter and Facebook RSS and Static message posting, when you now log in to view these changes, you will need to set the posting intervals up again (no settings have been lost or will change until you re-visit the page). When you revisit the RSS or Static config pages, please ensure that you have selected either ‘Timed’ or ‘Interval’Read More →

Changes to the scheduler system We wrote to you not too long ago to advise that we were making a change to how the ‘posting frequency’ is managed for both our Twitter and Facebook Auto Post services. The reason we are making a change is because currently, when you make a change to the posting frequency, the changes are not made immediately, there is a delay of between a few minutes to a few hours before these changes are applied. We want to make any change you make ‘real time’ like all the other settings. Automating this process means that certain aspect of the postingRead More →

You can now upload more than one custom logo to both Twitter and Facebook so that, when no artist image or cover art is found, the same image (station logo) is not always displayed but instead, it will choose a random image (out of 5 uploaded). To upload your logos, just visit the control panel and choose ‘Upload station logo’ from the Twitter or Facebook page and upload your logos. Previously it was only possible to upload one logo, but we have a suggestion to be able to upload more than one custom logo so that they display randomly if you have enabled images andRead More →
